About Isouktan ExpeditionsSaid Isouktan is the founder, guide and manager. Radouan Isouktan is a co-founder and guide. Mohamed Isouktan is an MTB guide, and Youssef Isouktan is a guide.
Profiles are intentionally concise. Specific trip arrangements should be confirmed through the relevant itinerary and enquiry process.
Useful support begins before the active programme. Travellers should share relevant questions about fitness, experience, equipment, dates and group needs. In return, trip information should make clear what is confirmed and what remains conditional. A booking request starts that exchange; it is not instant confirmation.
For technical or seasonal travel, uncertainty should not be hidden. Snow, weather, access and group ability can affect ski objectives. Heat, altitude or water conditions can affect trekking. Communication provides a way to plan responsibly without promising that nature will follow a fixed script.
A local team can introduce context and help organise a route, but guests also carry responsibilities. Arrive prepared for the published itinerary, follow guidance, communicate honestly about wellbeing, respect local communities and keep personal luggage appropriate to the trip.
Read more about guide and porter roles, responsible behaviour in our sustainable tourism guide, and equipment preparation before choosing a departure.
A trekking guest may spend consecutive days moving between valleys, camps or refuges. A cyclist needs route communication around surfaces, traffic, pace and equipment. A ski-tourer must understand condition-led objectives and be honest about technical experience. The team’s interaction with travellers therefore changes with the programme.
There is no value in assigning every staff role to every trip. The selected itinerary should state the relevant support, and questions should be resolved before confirmation. This keeps expectations connected to real work instead of generic team imagery.
